Waterfront Building

DSC_0912

I was attracted to the way that the light of the sunset was reflecting off the wood of the building which was reflected off the water. Then a seagull flew in and I got a shot off just before it landed in the water.

Clam Cannery Loading Door

DSC_0917

This door is on the 1885 Clam Cannery building in Port Townsend. It was the loading door where trucks would arrive to load/unload. It’s a great old building on the waterfront.

These are peaks visible from the ferry between Haines and Juneau Alaska. I was lucky to catch a brief opening in the clouds letting a little sun on the lower rock while the foreground forest was in shade.
