Tall and Thin Door

DSC_0992

No, this isn’t altered to make it look tall and skinny… the doorway really is like this. Showing a little age… busted up in places, but with a charm of its own.

Nice pattern in the glass on this door along Water Street in Port Townsend, WA. I like the way the vertical pattern in the top section is repeated horizontally in the lower section.

This is one of the door to the old powerhouse at Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend, WA. I’m not sure how well it operates now (the door, not the powerhouse). I would love to hear it being opened… I bet it really screeches.

I think the door needs a little work. It’s starting to look a little shabby. Especially compared to the rest of the building front. (don’t ask about the back)

Rusted Door

DSC_1031

Fort Worden State Park (Port Townsend, WA) has a lot of old bunkers, gun emplacements and search light stations … in various stages of decomposition. This one was about the worst I’ve seen. Clearly showing the signs of weather and salt air. While in the worst shape, one of the more interesting.
